Lecheiris UK was established back in 2014 to provide hope and relief to our brothers and sisters in times of darkness.
The organisations mission is to make sure that when someone is struggling with their health they are never left alone and always have someone to be there with them to help them through.
If it’s transportation to hospital for patients or there family members, Delivering of fresh meals, Staying overnight shifts with patients, Cheer-up groups, Entertainment iPads for children, Day outs to relief the stress, etc… Lecheiris is there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to make sure there needs are fulfilled.
Every week our organisation receives hundreds of phone calls from our brethren who are seeking our support, and we are proud to say that our volunteers cover more then 95% of these calls.
Our volunteers will always go out of their way to bring happiness and relief to those in pain.
Unlike any other organisations we do not limit ourselves to our flagship services and will very often help patients and their families fulfilling unique requests and do whatever it is we can help.
We are so proud that over the past few years we have grown into a pillar of Chessed and support for our communities and have been able to go to extraordinary length to provide this unparalleled service thanks to our 250+ volunteers who are the true Spark in the Dark.
Lecheiris organization have dispatched hundreds of calls delivering shopping, medication and other goods to people in isolation, Mr H Tunk Director of Lecheiris said “we are overwhelmed by the support the community has shown especially the number of people wanting to join and volunteer for Lecheiris the last few days”
All the above is in addition to what Lecheiris is doing the entire year Helping people in need including taking people and food to hospital and staying with patients in hospitals or their home.
